Britain’s paper of record, The Sun is reporting that Atlantis has at long last been found. Some wonk cruising Google Ocean saw a street grid layout that’s about 100 miles wide sitting in 17,000 feet of water. It actually looks a lot like the layout for Salt Lake City—the Atlantians must not have been that inventive in their city planning, either.

Situated in an area called the Madeira Abyssal Plane, the grid was spotted by aeronautical engineer Bernie Bamford as he browsed through Google Ocean.

Bernie, 38, of Chester, said: “It looks like an aerial map of Milton Keynes. It must be man-made.”

I have no idea what the Milton Keynes is, but I’m guessing from the context that it’s a manmade underwater town. First they found a fake Bigfoot and now this—it’s like all those Choose Your Own Adventure books I read as a kid are coming true.
