Ski Masks Get Creepier
By Rocky Thompson on February 9th, 2009
I thought there was something inherently creepy about the anonymity of the black ski mask favored by gas station robbers, but then I saw this Instructibles do-it-yourself ski mask that lets you keep your identity while staying warm. The Identity Preserving Ski Mask is made with some iron-on Inkjet images, a digital camera, and an existing balaclava. On a personal level, the most bothersome thing here is that this guy must look a little bit like me, and I could probably get away with wearing his mask and people would just assume I’d developed elephantiasis.
