I’m not normally one of those guys who gets mad at the mass media for reporting the wrong things. I might not be a fan of the opinion news coming from Olbermann or O’Reilly’s fat heads, but one place that I have been severely disappointed is in Olympics coverage. It’s all this “goodwill to all and to all a goodnight” crap. It’s when I have to learn about awesome stuff like Jeret “Speedy” Peterson’s drunken brawl outside of a bar in Italy that led to his being sent home to Idaho during the 2006 Turin Olympics that I get really mad. I mean, they were still talking about Nancy Kerrigan and her white trash skating friend during the ’06 Olympics, meanwhile insane aerials skiers are over-dosing on Red Bull and tearing bars apart. Well, ol’ Speedy Peterson apparently landed in more trouble for urinating in public, which I didn’t even think was still illegal but apparently some fascist cops didn’t get that memo. If you have the nuts to launch yourself off one of those ramps, well, you should be able to hang them out wherever you want.
