You just have to hope that it’s windy if it’s cloudy, or that it’s sunny if there’s no breeze. I guess all bets are off if it’s raining since the Kinesis K2 isn’t waterproof—too bad since you’ll be stuck under a tarp all day without power. The Kinesis K2 will be available for about $100, and its makers say that one hour in the sun or wind will get you about 30 minutes of talk time on a conventional cell phone. The rig also comes with a clip so that you can mount it on the handlebars of your clown bike or the top of your external frame backpack.
