Lunocet’s been making these Merman kits that let you swim around the YMCA like some kind of anthropomorphic dolphin. They cost an insane $1800 each, which is why they haven’t achieved the popularity of Razor scooters. The feeling of having your feet tied together while trying to swim aside, I bet there’s a great learning curve for these things—either figure it out or they drag your bloated corpse off the lake when it floats to the surface.
