Keep Driving that SUV and This is How Skiing Will Look in a Few Years

A store in Dublin promises that you’ll become a “competent skier” in 12 hours of lessons on their gigantic treadmill ski slope. Hopefully there’s a section where they talk about not pushing people off the traverse. The ski treadmill might actually be fun if it would shoot you off the back into a padded Velcro wall that would catch your body and ski equipment. I bet the view from the summit isn’t quite as inspiring as most ski hills.

I d like to know why the hell they are all dudered up in ski close. Is it cold in there?
I m hoping for something more like Ski Dubai s indoor ski hill http://www.skidubai.com/ski-dubai/photos/
They have one of these at the Bill Jackson sporting good store in Florida. They do lessons at $68/hour http://www.billjacksons.com/Skiing/SnowApplet/snow.htm
There s a place called Virtual Snow in Santa Monica. They call it ski training, not skiing because it isn t skiing. It takes place on carpeting on giant rollers. It s really lame.
