Apparently unsatisfied with their market share of disaffected hipsters and 1920 basketball players, Converse has figured out that they might be able to squirm into the massive skate shoe industry. In Spring ‘09 they’ll be expanding their skate shoe line with some high tops Pistol Pete Maravich would have killed for, and they’re already rolled out a Spring ’09 website as a clever way to get in on the action.
