Swiss Army to Supply Their Troops with Shoes

Swiss Army shoes should all come with a knife blade embedded in the toe like that scene in the movie Roadhouse where the guy walks into the Double Deuce with a knife sticking out of his boot and Pat Swayze kicks his ass anyway. Then the Wenger Swiss Army shoes could also have toothpick in the heel to chew on after you got done stomping some jerks. Sadly, these great design concepts aren’t included in any of the eight shoe models Wenger will roll out for between $95 and $170.

I like that a special feature of the soles of the shoes is having the rubber get hard when it’s super cold out and soft when it’s hot….isn’t that what rubber doesn anyway?? In fact I would bet there are companies out there trying to do quite the opposite and keep rubber somewhat pliable in cold weather. Still I wonder if Reef is concerned that someone will be encroaching on their “bar in your feet” territory and will come out with a sandal that has a cork screw embedded in the heel.
