Dean Kamen put on his nicest Canadian Tuxedo to model these water purifiers that turn urine into drinking water and are powered by feces. It’s obviously not sized to be carried around in your backpack, but if it actually works the filtration machine would be killer for backcountry outposts or research stations off the grid. Kamen says the Slingshot could cost $1000 to $2000 once they go into production, and the machine will be employed in villages that are far from potable water sources.

This could be the end of groover boys as we know them. They would become the exception as all of the folks on the tour could sh*t for world peace. It could be a new………….movement?

You only mentioned the initial cost of the water purifier. How much would it be to maintain the system? Is there any scheduled when this would be on the market?
