The promise of no cords running through your ski jacket or down the inside of your shirt has been the focus of many needlessly complex inventions—and the upcoming Sony DR-BT160AS headphones are no exception. You either have to go with the triple-fat DJ headphones that are big enough to house batteries and a Bluetooth setup, or you have to go with these awkward 80s-style ones with the built-in antenna. At least it’s a step in the right direction—they look like that thing Lando’s buddy Lobot wore in Cloud City. Sony DR-BT160AS headphones  will be out in October; price yet to be released.

It’s not a microphone. Damn, I hate snowboarding without a headset, cellphone, music, and video. I don’t want to be exposed to that backwoods environment.

They don’t look very comfortable. I’ve been using JayBird bluetooth wireless headphones for a while and loving them. I had an S9 before that and have also tried the Plantronics Voyager. I found the JayBird is the better of the 3 for work outs cause they stay on so well. They works really well and I highly recommend them.
