Leatherman’s $40k Argentum Collection

I once found a Leatherman sitting on a log at a portage. I didn’t feel compelled to look for the owner, but if it had been a Leatherman Dorado, I might have felt more of a moral twinge. After all, it’s not every day that someone spends $40,000 on a golden 25th anniversary Leatherman. If the $40k is a bit out of your price range, you can still honor the Leatherman heritage with one of their reasonably priced $3,600 Charge Trenzada models.

You have to wonder if Leatherman thinks that there’s even a slim chance that one of these things will sell. More likely, they made one of each model with some kind of a marketing plan to get people like me to make people like you think about buying a new Leatherman. I’d hate to get one of these swiped by airport security.
