Rocky - I'm interested, now that we're several months into BHO's presidency, do you still feel the same way? the national tide has certainly turned, what with his approval rating now flirting with less than 50%, and dramatically lower that George W's at corresponding times in both of his terms.... People have started to realized that he was all smoke and mirrors, and the spending he's doing is irresponsible and could actually bankrupt the country.

Benjamin Stein (WorldNetDaily.com)

Slogans for Barack Obama

When Experience, Knowledge and Honor Just Aren't Good Enough. Vote Obama.

Hope. Change. And All That Other BS. Vote Obama.

More Experience Than a Fifth Grader. Vote Obama.

Standing Up For the Power of Horse Manure. Vote Obama.

Talking Big. Doing Nothing. Vote Obama.

This Election Is All About You. Voting for Me. Vote Obama.

Sure, I Remember Voting In the Senate That One Time. Vote Obama.

Kim Jong-il, Hamas and Fidel Castro Can't Be Wrong. Vote Obama.

Pass the Arugula. Vote Obama.

You Say Corrupt Land Deal. I Say Creative Financing. Potaytoe, Potahtoe. Vote Obama.

Like Black People? Vote Obama.

The Man With The Iraq Plan. Yeah, The Plan That Didn't Work. So What, Racist? Vote Obama.

Flag Pins Are Stupid. But I'm Not Unpatriotic. You Racist. Vote Obama.

Don't Like My Pastor? Shut Up, Racist. Still Don't Like Him? I Guess I Don't, Either. Vote Obama.

Watch the Oceans Recede. Watch the World Make Peace. And Watch As I Saw This Woman In Half! Vote Obama.

Fooling All of the People All of the Time. Vote Obama.

Cut Military Funding. Dictators Are Nice. Vote Obama.

Yes We Can. Or Rather, I Can. Vote Obama.

Barack Obama will not adopt any of these slogans any time soon, I admit. But here's the irony – he could adopt such slogans and still win the election. That's because his followers do not hear a word he says. They watch him wave his arms; they scream and cheer as he fist-bumps his wife; they keel over in the aisles when he coughs, and jump up and down when he sneezes. He's part Neville Chamberlain, part Rolling Stones. His devotees are all moonstruck teenyboppers.

The one thing that people knock Barack Obama on is lack of foreign policy experience, so he goes to Europe to practice it and what do you do? You rag on him for that too. Some people's minds can't be changed and you, OffGriSurvival, are clearly a lifelong Republican that will never vote for a Democrat no matter the circumstances. People that blindly vote party lines are the worst kind of people on earth.

Wow...Norski...you found a single example. In the south, we used to say that even a blind pig finds the occasional acorn. I think his recent proposals of no gas tax holidays and off-shore drilling might trump that...call me crazy. Oh, and we forget McBush's major contribution to the environment - war. Gets rid of (pardon me Mr. Dickens) all the surplus population.

If you really care about our playground (Earth), you'll vote Obama.

And, guys, Obama is change. Not revolution, change. Hopefully, we get to find out for sure. He's got my vote and contributions. And, since I'm a lifetime Democrat, I believe that I do care about the environment, the economy, and the world. Lot's of my Democratic friends do to...and truthfully, some of my Republican friends care also.

I think isn't amusing all the people who are voting for Obama for "CHANGE" No one even knows what this guys is about, how could they he hasn't even served a ful term as a senator. This guy has done nothing, yet people act like he is the second coming. And why is this guy over in Europe acting like he is the President discussing foreign policy? Seems a little arrogant to me. Maybe he thinks he's running for the job of King of the world.

I wish people would wake up to the fact that neither the democrats nor the Republicans could give a $%$# about you. They are both 2 sides of the same coin. They don't care about the environment, the economy or anything besides retaining power. I think this Obama guy is Scary, Very Scary

bryantp: if you checked out those sites, you would see that McCain has actually been proposing (yes PROPOSING, not just voting FOR. e.g. the 2003 McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act) bills that would help the environment before Obama was even a Senator! Hmmmmmm......seems like he's got a pretty good track record! Think about it!

A bold assumption based upon no fact whatsoever...visitors to this site enjoy the outdoors. Now, employing that old logic class - the outdoors includes the environment.

If you enjoy the outdoors, you enjoy the environment.

So, you care about the environment.

So, what do the candidates say and, most importantly, how do they vote?

This is getting hard, I know. Take a break for a minute. Crunch a Clif Bar.

Okay, check out:

http://www.grist.org/candidate_chart_08.html for their positions.

and

http://www.lcv.org/voterguide/ for their voting record.

No need to thank me...just vote Obama!

j942rhino is right, I mean look at each of the previous Democrats who've been in the whitehouse and the the price of KFC stock...coincidence? I THINK NOT.
