The Luzzone Dam in Switzerland is has a 225m multi-pitch route that makes your $60-a-month climbing gym look like a little-person’s kids’ dollhouse. The 738-foot climb would be a lot more exciting if they would open sections of the dam at random intervals and blast people off the wall and into the ether. I bet there aren’t a lot of good hand-sized cracks up there.

Don’t you think hundreds of holes for holds running in a line up the dam would effect the dam’s integrity a little?

wow this is crazy. Well I would assume if there were good size cracks that the water blasting people off would be some quite possible.

This thing is over 100 feet thick at its base pretty sure a two inch whole isn’t going to do to much damage.

Shouldn’t there be a joke about the little Dutch boy in here somewhere?
