Monument Snowboards 2008/09 Hoodlum Lineup

Snowboard Magazine has a look at next year’s Monument Snowboard line, and they all feature bamboo sidewalls. When people start paying more attention to eco-washing and synthetics become more expensive, then we’ll finally begin to see a real shift to natural products. The BlackBlack pictured here has a graphic designed by the street artist Krink, who manufacturers his own line of inks and markers for artists and vandals. Tagging is lowest form of art since starving dogs to death, but it’s good to see bamboo on the hoodlum boards, too.

Terrible comparison Graffiti is a very refined art form. Starving dogs is sadistic and a terrible idea

Art is fine, but not all graffiti is art. Tagging, especially the lame crap done by insecure wanna-be hoodlums on any “unused” space that doesn’t do any more than get their unreadable name up on a wall, is crap. Starving dogs is about the same– no real positive outcome.

do a google search on this: monument snowboards, KRINK - Lowest art form huh, these guys are in ALIFE stores and Colette in paris. Do your research on the artists before you defame graffiti douchebag, becuase I think Monument is far ahead of the curve than QVC is in trends. http://www.KrINK.com
