A Kids’ Bike Short Named the Pinocchio?
By Rocky Thompson on June 19th, 2008Italian’s have a very odd sense of humor when it comes to naming their kids’ bike gear. The Castelli Pinocchio Kids’ Bike Shorts are pretty average for high-end kids’ stuff, but what the hell are they thinking with these names? Really, we should be surprised that more of the stuff that hits these shores doesn’t come with twisted names and bizarre features. I mean, we get a lot of our bike parts from companies in Japan—have you ever seen their game shows?

“Italian’s” is incorrect grammar. “Italians” means more than one Italian, and would be proper grammar in this case. “Italian’s” means something belongs to an Italian. For example, a single Italian’s bike short. These editing are amateur and are becoming more frequent, Rocky!!
Do you mean: “These editing [mistakes] are amateur…”? The problem, you see, is that “editing” isn’t even a noun (much less the plural noun that the verb “are” would indicate). Proofread your own writing if you’re going to be condescending.
@Mel: Bam, sucka!
