Airlines to Charge for Second Checked Bag

My friend Sam says that guys can only check bags if they’re going on safari, so this shouldn’t affect him at all. Five of the six major U.S. airlines are going to soak you for an extra $25 for the second bag. This shouldn’t come as a surprise since NWA has been charging $50 for an exit row seat and still treating you like in vitro meat. This is bad news for ski or surf trips, which is about the only time you need to pack two bags—I think they should just charge an extra $100 for golf clubs and pass the savings onto us.

Delta is also charging 3 bucks a bag (before tip and cash only) for curbside check-in now.

This is ridiculous–if the issue is weight, 1) surcharge the fatties 2) allow two bags up to a certain weight THEN charge extra.
