I saw a guy walking his dog around the park by hanging the leash out the window of his Civic. He wasn’t dragging the dog or anything, but I thought the laziness of it was about at pathetic as you could get. Then I saw this. The GPS Dog Tracking System attaches to your dog’s collar and then sends a text message to your cell phone whenever the dog runs away. It takes a little programming that you’ll never setup if you’re lazy enough to actually buy this $200 toy, so a better option might be just cutting off your dog’s legs so it doesn’t run away.

Wow. I certainly hope this is not the wave of the future. In our need-everything; want-everything now society, it’s no wonder we are all overweight and unhealthy! Funny thing about the collar…your dog probably wouldn’t run away if the owner would get out and walk them! Now we’re gonna push the “easy way” onto our dogs also.
