The moccasin-style stitching on the bottom of these sandals is part of the snap-fit technology that Nike relies on for their environmentally friendly Considered line. The sew-up technology minimizes the adhesives that Nike needs to use in the sandal’s construction, so it’s easier to recycle and uses fewer resources. It’s a great idea, but can’t they make the sandals look a little less like props for 70s sci-fi movies? Casual, yet futuristic, the Nike ACG Considered Sandals will be out this spring.
