The Delta 7 Arantix bike frame is a made from a woven carbon fiber and Kevlar and weighs about 2.75 pounds. The spider web frame is made around carbon lugs, and the company claims the woven tubes are strong enough to stand on and won’t flex a millimeter. All this technology will cost you about $7000 for the frame only, and it’ll be available from Delta 7 next spring. There’s something about the frame that makes me want to hit it with a baseball bat. It’s a good thing the company addresses how the frame handles shrapnel in this video.
