Hey I work for Timbuk2.

Just wanted to send a reaction to your post. Totally cool in my book for you to say what you will about us (we put ourselves out there), but not cool to call our customers anything they don't want to be called.

That said we saw this solar technology and are checking it out...we are also trying to make some bags out of garbage, and shopping bags from our neighborhood (I think you guys posted about this...)

So thanks for the nudge on design... we will save the planet soon no worries.

This product is actually quite brilliant mostly because of its simple and aesthetically pleasing design. "Reputable messengar bags" could use this light optimizing technology but have chosen not to do so. Maybe you should write them a letter. Otherwise leave the V-Dim bags and technology to the professionals.

This kind of product is a waste of time, whether the bag is quality or not. The amount of time spent facing the correct direction for the 4x6 PV panel to produce enough power to be worthwhile would make it useless as a bag. Spend your time and money overcoming your addiction to bling and be better off.

Or save your money for a real system on your home-- after you have made all the cost effective efficiency upgrades you can.
