Burton Tech Polo Brings Preppy to the Slopes

It’s unbelievable that it took this long for a major brand to develop a base layer that doesn’t look like cosmonaut underwear. I know Burton’s not the first to make decent baselayers, but their Tech Polo is part of a larger line designed to class-up the après ride bar. Of course, tripping over ski boots in said bar won’t look anymore graceful in this shirt, and to be honest, seeing people wearing polo shirts as baselayers is a little odd. It used to be that you could identify someone as an out-of-towner for wearing rugby shirts on the ski hill. Burton made the Tech Polo with their Dry Ride polyester/spandex blend and sells the shirt for $65. Â

Why you have to hate on cosmonaut undies, dude? I bet you haven’t even tried cosmonaut underwear and you’re just being mean! In Soviet Russia, blog rant on you!
