“Play that one again, it makes ‘em fight.” This helmet reminds me that I was too young to appreciate Strange Brew the first time I saw it. Did you know that Bob and Doug McKenzie’s adventure is based loosely on Hamlet? Ellsinore brewery, the ghost from the arcade video game—I didn’t figure it out either, I read it on the back of the box.

POC Ski’s Skull Comp Helmet is a replica of the white team’s hockey helmets in the greatest film to ever come out of Canada. It has a super-slim 7mm shell that fits close to your head and relies on urethane honeycomb and memory foam lining for impact absorption and fit. It costs about $300, and would be great for Halloween and skiing.
