Hur’calees Hur’calees: The $300 Arc’teryx Hoody

arc'teryx-hercules-hoody
The Arc’teryx Hercules is the only place you’ll get $300 worth of hoody. They make the jacket with Polartec’s Power Shield O2, which has a high-loft interior with a smooth face fabric that makes it warm, ultra breathable, and great as a mid-layer. It’s the do-anything $300 fleece that your friends will get sick of seeing since you won’t want to take if off. Arc’teryx even gave it waterproof zippers—I guess in case a can of Fresca inside your hardshell’s pocket explodes during a crash.

Wow…thought the Fresca was our little secret…

I wonder how this compares to the gamma mx hoody…. Looks pretty sweet.

As to the Gamma MX question, Hercules is more breathable, and less weather resistant. And the zippers aren’t the watertight variety, just a reverse coil.
