The 25mph PowerKayak

The end of kayak paddling is upon us. The PowerKayak hides a four-stroke engine within its hull that you control from the driver’s seat with a joystick. It’ll run at 25mph for two hours off the two-gallon fuel tank, but you can replace the emergency paddle with an extra fuel can to get a little more distance. You’ll want to avoid portages since the boat weighs about 120 pounds. It’s available for about the same price as a sea kayak without an engine—$2700.

I’m holding out for the one with the sofa, A/C, and an iPod connection. Oops…and the coffee machine!

I fear that the target audience (fatties) still won’t be able to enjoy this kayak because they’ll still tip the sucker over.
