MSR Delays Release of Reactor Stove: JetBoil Throwing High-Fives
By Rocky Thompson on July 2nd, 2007MSR announced today that they would delay release of their latest Reactor Stoves after a minority of them showed higher than desired levels of Carbon Monoxide during testing. The MSR Reactor Stove has a convective pot and radiant mesh burner that uses less fuel than conventional stoves to boil water (and apparently produces more Carbon Monoxide, too). MSR isn’t saying when their new stove will be available, but they’ve definitely missed the busiest time of the summer to sell stoves. I’m sure the nice people at JetBoil send MSR their condolences.
