Like most people, I consider conventional running fairly ecological. Though I think most of us would welcome the rise of Eco-Running—it’s the practice of picking up trash while you’re trail running. I’ll admit that I’d be embarrassed to run around carrying a little trash bag, but it’s not like the people who see me would be in a position to think I’m an idiot for cleaning up the trail. I’ll make them feel guilty, at least until they find out how damn smug I am.
