We shouldn’t be surprised that the Euros invented this wind-powered cell phone charger that clips to the top of a tent; after all, they did invent the original windmill, which was eventually co-opted and perfected by American mini-golf course operators. The mobile phone company Orange is introducing them at the Glastonbury Festival. They aren’t available in the U.S., but I’m sure you could figure out how to hack one together at home with a wind-up charger.
