Chaps for Your Poncho

The Exped Chaps are part Old West revivalist, part wet crotch, part snow wader. They don’t make any sense for paddling a canoe in the rain or backpacking with a normal rain jacket, but they would work well with a poncho or riding a bike in light rain. The Exped website says they work well for building igloos, but so would waders and I don’t think I’d wear those winter camping. They weigh six ounces and pack into pockets on the knees.  Â
