New ProBar Flavor: Superfood Slam

If you haven’t tried a ProBar yet, you’ve either been living in a cave or you’re deeply afraid of energy food that looks like compacted bird food. In either case, it’s time to step out and take a chance because everything ProBar makes is absolutely top notch. I tried a Superfood Slam today and can’t quite figure out what the flavor’s supposed to be, but I really liked it. That’s probably the same reaction the ProBar people had, which would explain its vague, non-descriptive name. ProBars sell for $36 for a 12-pack.
[...] The doctor with suspect medical credentials is making food with his wife called Alpsnacks. Dr. Bronner is looking to combine the several-uses-in-one-bottle product philosophy that he made famous in his soap into a trail food. Alpsnacks blend of raw foods into a calorific energy bar/meal replacement sounds a lot like what Pro Bar’s cooking. It would be nice if Doc Bronner’s peppermint flavored soap also worked as icing.
