Canadian Government Cracking Down on Resort Hot Tubs in the Name of Green

By Rocky Thompson on May 2nd, 2007

Among the regulation of SUVs, snowmobiles, and furnaces in the new Canadian CO2 emissions plan, hot tubs will be regulated for their chemical use and cleaning products. The days of kicking back with a beer at your rented house in Whistler might be in jeopardy. Too bad, but if you’re renting a house in Whistler than you probably have some cash to throw around—maybe you can just buy some carbon offsets from the Canuck Government.
