The Front Wheel Engine for Any Bike
By Rocky Thompson on April 6th, 2007The Revo Wheel turns your bike into a pedal-start moped. It has a small two-stroke engine built into the front wheel that automatically starts when you roll forward and turns off when you stop. It’s a bit like the Xtracycle Stokemonkey, only it’s contained in the front wheel so installation is easy and any bike can be converted. The problem of course is that turning corners with an engine in the front wheel isn’t exactly going to be easy. The thing’ll have a mind of its own when it comes to making U-turns and the steering will be really sluggish. According to the company’s website, biking gets lazy in 2008.
