Blue Collar Bikes

The Workman Industrial Newsboy doesn’t look like it’s seen many upgrades since the end of WWII. The benefit to no R&D spending by Workman is that you can still buy a bike outfitted with all the baskets you could ever need for only $309. Compared to any of the Xtracycle or Bakfiets frames, that’s a hell of a deal. It might not have any of that fancy “aluminum” or “hand brakes,” but at least it’s less likely to breakdown than the new Coasting bikes. Â
