No Brain Guy Line

Tying knots isn’t really that hard. Even if you don’t know how to tie the right knot, you can usually come up with some fat-fingered version that gets the job done. But what if you need to tie your tent down for a big storm, but you’re too humiliated to ask your friends how to tighten your guy lines? My friend, the NiteIze Figure 9 Rope Tightener is for you. All you have to do is pull the accessory cord through one side and then push it into the other side. Almost as easy as tying a knot. Â
This looks decidedly more complex and less sturdy than a low-budget trucker’s hitch. I can see it now:
Sally: Billy I’m cold and wet and the outdoors is yucky, I hate you!
