Motorized, Hydrofoil Surfboard

hydroglider

The Hydroglider is kind of like a sailboard with a motor instead of a sail—so like a boat, I guess. The 40lb surfboard runs for two hours with a top speed of 25mph. You can lie down or stand up, but you always have to remember to avoid shallow water or you’ll shear off the motor and hydrofoil fin and have to paddle home.

What could… oh, wait, you answered that already. Nevermind.

I wouldn’t buy it, but I’d probably ride one on a dare.

Ithink there are better ways to waste energy, but I could be wrong.

I’d probably sink any a-hole who tried to show up at my break with one of those things.

Last year a novice father and son kayaked around the Isle of Wight in 18 hrs for charities. This year as an environmental solar and wind challenge we are aiming to beet the Guinness Book of Records speed time (8.25 hrs) for 62 miles.
I have the windsurfing kite (a 12M deisel surf kite), the Valley Nodkapp L kayak, and canvas fishing anchor and an origiNZ rudder.
I deperately need a hydrofoil designer and maker for the keel and new rudder.
I would like this to be a double hydrafoil, so that I can paddle the kayak when the wind is not blowing in the right direction and be able to maintain the watertight kayak (without a centre board).
The kayak is 18 ft, and with a 20 ins beam and weighs 50 lbs. I weigh 200 lbs
If you can assist, please contact me.
    Thank you regards Robert
