Wooden Pull-up Bars
By Rocky Thompson on March 7th, 2007These have been around for awhile, but with spring around the corner it’s really the last chance to think about training if you don’t want to be the weakest one at the crag. The Metolius Wood Grips are low-friction climbing holds designed to give a break to people who can’t bear to take a day off from climbing. Instead of grinding their hands against plastic holds and leaving bits of bloodied flesh on the gym’s holds, they can do some laps on these Metolius monkey bars. And if you’re the weakest one at the crag? Big deal. At least you’ll be able to see some improvement over the summer while your friends are stuck on the same problems. It’ll come back quicker than you think.
