Backcountry Binders

rite in the rain

You’ll be a regular Aldo Leopold marching through the woods with your Brooks Range Rite in the Rain Field Book. That old naturalist would carry around a notebook and pencil to make notes on local wildlife, but I’ll probably use mine for dirty drawings and grocery lists. Brooks Range says the $3 notebook can be written on in any condition. Too bad it doesn’t look like one of those blue test booklets, you could smuggle it into class in your coffee.

Here in the pacific northwest, Rite in the Rain products have been favorites for years. Are they just finally going naitonal? Why the sudden press?

And, yes, they really do work in the rain. Just fantastic stuff.

I’ve actually used these, back in my forestry days, and they are great. Work well soaking wet.

Those of us in the caving world have been using them for years as survey books. They are indestructible underground, and can take the muddy abuse.

They’re awesome for keeping notes while sailing in harsh conditions too. They rock.

I’ve had all my favorite Hustler mags reprinted in this stuff. I’ts saved me thousands in re-porning.
