Road Cycling Summer Camp

If you’re one of those cyclists who claim the only reason you don’t turn pro is because you don’t have access to professional level training, prepare to be silenced. George Hincapie is starting something called the Hincapie Multisport Community near Greenville, South Carolina. It’s going to be a 300 acre sprawl with 85 sites for mountain homes and access to pro cycling trainers and training facilities. If moving to a gated community in South Carolina’s not your thing, they’ll also have a temporary place you can setup shop in the Hincapie Performance training Village.

Considering that the only people who’ll be able to afford this are probably the same ones with $5k bikes hanging unused in their garages, you shouldn’t have to worry about the facilities ever being crowded.

I bet this whole thing turns out to be a cult.
