The SnowSport Industries of America (SIA) Show begins in Las Vegas on Monday, and I’ll be there to blog about what’s coming in skis and snowboards next season. This week SIA has been emailing attendees about their new smoking policy (not allowed in the convention center) and Green initiatives. They’re buying wind power vouchers from Colorado to offset the show’s electricity consumption. Too bad Vegas can’t figure out a way to harness environmentally sustainable electricity from desperation and excessive indulgence.
