Nordica’s XBi System is the latest technology in an effort to give customers easy-turning skis that keep you balanced while giving a solid edge grip to lean into. A promo video on SkiNet tries to explain why Nordica’s system is better than Volkls or Marker’s Select Control and Salomon’s Power Pulse from way back in the day. Basically, it uses the same “floating binding” idea that everyone else uses to prevent a dead spot where the ski won’t flex underneath your boot. The video looks a lot like how I would imagine Transformers cartoons would look if that show was still around.
