Jibskate Skis

Some concepts just aren’t meant to be wed. I mean, maybe Nordic Skate Skiers and Rollerbladers feel like they have a lot in common, but I don’t think the two sports have enough in common to get together. Fischer’s line of Jibskate skis are made to be used for Nordic Skating and resort parks. The Fischer Bullet Rail is even made specifically for grinds. What do you do with those super long ski poles when you’re on a rail?

wow. i’m semi speechless. I went to Fischer’s site and watched that video….and I don’t get it. Why not use a park tele rig? this just looks like a bunch of bored nordis goofing around….the fact that fischer sees this as a viable market dumbfounds me. This makes Snollerblading seem like a viable niche by comparison.

This is just like when I got my first perm - no one understood me then either. One day everyone will know I was right about Jibskate Skiis and then I’ll laugh at you all from the back of my unicorn.
