Speaker Phone To Go

By Rocky Thompson on August 28th, 2006

If talking loudly on your cell phone isn’t getting you enough attention, it’s time to upgrade to the Skullcandy LINK Pack. Four built-in waterproof speakers on the shoulder straps and a microphone embedded in the upper strap lets you take phone calls on speaker phone while standing in line at the post office or walking through the mall. Between phone calls you can use the speakers to pump your demo album and try to generate some buzz about your rad beats.

Actually, this could be kinda cool if someone were to hook up a GPS unit and store it in the backpack, along with a laptop that converted the GPS instructions into some sort of ongoing navigation dialog. Imagine bike messengers with these things on, but getting directions read to them as they move around Manhattan: “Turn left now.” “Go straight.” “Flip the bird at the taxi on your right.”
