The compass makers at Silva are releasing the AR1 Air Pod this fall; it’s a watch-sized instrument that uses accelerometers to record your air time while snowboarding or skiing. Two buttons let you scroll through your last 15 jumps and see how much time you actually log in the air. I measures between 9 and .01 seconds. The perfect gift for your egomaniacal friend whose board never really leaves the ground.
